The Ohio Women’s Open Board, Inc. has voted to skip the year 2011 as a tournament year and hopes to resume the tournament in 2012. This vote by the board is a direct result of the uncertain economy and the uncertain changes which the Women’s Ohio Open’s normal host course, Kettenring Country Club, will be making in the near future due to its current dire financial difficulties.
It is our hope to return the Open to Defiance’s Kettenring Country Club in 2012.
